just getting moved in, got lots of organizing to do, have not started moving the old shop (garage) yet. at least a couple weeks before I move my last remaining project out of the old shop.

The lift goes where the blue CJ-5 sits, and the machine tools go where the Lincoln's trunk is (under the mezzanine).

now I can put at least 5 rigs under cover full time, more if I want to crowd 'em

To the right of the Sno-Cat is gonna be a "real" cantiliever steel rack and more shelves. The air compressor goes where my temporary firewood storage is now. you cant see it, but theres a CJ-7 behind the Sno-Cat.

What a nice high ceiling you have in there.
Perfect for that lift you mentioned. :thumb:
Did you just build it? What size is it?

FYI, there should be an option on your camera to eliminate the date/time from showing up to ruin your images.

The date/time is embedded in the image itself, no need to have it etched on your actual photo.

Doc, It's not really "new", just new to me. was built circa 1992 by previous owner. The shop was one of the main reasons we bought that house. previously I had plenty of outdoor storage, and barns, but my workspace was limited to a 26x26 Garage (shop). new shop is 2000 sq. ft. We started movin' in around July.

Gatorboy, you're right. I never thought about it, and may consider changing my camera setup. I really like having the date available as 99% of my photos are for documentation purposes. I have absolutely no artistic ability with phography or anything else. I could, and do, build steel structures from drawings, but I couldn't build a stick figure from horseshoe nails to save my own life.

Eric.

nice looking 5 you have there...

I have a few jeeps around here.. in fact my 7 came from CA!

Anyone wanna buy a cool old car?
Not any more, this one just followed me home recently! It barely runs, and when it does it runs badly. There is plenty of rust, but not so much that it will be a pain to restore, and it is all original so restoration may mean simply fixing up some stuff. I got a lot of spare parts too!

Oh, and my wife is just thrilled :hide:

Its a '67 Kaiser Jeepster Deluxe Convertible. My goal is to keep it mostly original, but to put in high back seats (whiplash), a nice sound system, and have some fun. Lots of people use Jeepsters as the basis for extreme off road machines, but it would be a real shame to destroy something that is as classic, and in as original, as one of the Deluxe Convertible models. It will get everything repaired that is broken, and ultimately fresh 2-tone paint.

Don't know if it is my monitor or the picture, but I can barely make out a black 4 door sedan in the first picture. What is that car, and can you post a better picture of it? As an old car collector, I like to see what others have for collector cars. Junk..
