Thank You All! The story behind my user name is it would kind of fit me.
Snow on my roof, but the shingles did'nt fall out yet (hair) and I make noise motovating around.

:yum: I feel like I'm not far behind you ORT. When I get a hair cut I wonder where that gray is coming from that falls on the barber bib. It didn't look like much gray on my head, but once it's cut is sure does. :D

Hey, at least gray hair can be colored! I guess having less hair has it's advantages too- you can't really screw up a haircut.

Welcome Rattle Trap. Were you once known as "Young Rattle Trap"?

Hi Mike! I was ARTY, FDC , 6/11, Amercal Division, 23rd Inf. LZ Bronco in Chu-Lai and LZ Center. Still working around forestry equipment and now in marine service company that repairs tug boats, comercial fishing boats, barge's, ETC.
I maintain everything in the yard and on the barge out on the water. Welding machines, fork-lift's, crane's, wheel-loader's, electric tool's and what eever else becomes inoperative. It had got slow with my other friend and boss in the land clearing of trees busness so he hooked me up with the boat yard which turned out to be a friend from year's ago. I love it as they have the same passive nature.
The only iron I have is a Farmall Cub of 1947 or 48.
For the one or two days on this forum, I agree is very good!

Hello Al, I wasn't in Nam. Spent my year in Utapao,Thailand where they had the B-52's.You probably heard 500's or 750's that I attached the tail fin and fuses to. I'm surprised south vietnam isn't an iron mine as much as we dropped on it.
Sounds like you're the master mechanic for that outfit. Probably keeps your life interesting. Working on a farm now is like a vacation after all those yrs on road construction. I took early retirement because my body said it was time to get away from the "gravel refineries".
Mike

Yes Mike, I have no choise to keep working right now and it seems now that each year I get older, the summer's are hotter and the winter's are colder.
I could only emagine how it must feel with your vacation. Drastic change from stress to tranquility!
AL

Yeah,I hear ya on the summers and winters!! I don't mean there's no stress on the farm, just a lot less than I was used to !!! LOL!!!
