The war between Ukraine and Russia has produced what Russia would call an unexpected result: the number of casualties of its own army is higher than any past conflicts that the country has been involved in. It's created a new problem that I would like to address in the words that the scriptwriters of Avengers End Game would have had Thanos speak...
"Russia thought that by trying to bring Ukraine under its banner, the excessive influence of NATO wouldn't spread any further, and it could usher in a more positive era for Ukraine, but the wartime events have proven that's impossible. As long as there are those who believe in their way of life and their strength, there will always be those who will want to impose their will on others. They will act on it, regardless of the damage they can cause. Russia is a fine example. It has lost too many soldiers without gaining the right amount of ground, leaving a very large number widows or girlfriends behind, with, or without children.
In a way, this is something to be thankful for, because now, there is a solution to the dilemma: The single men in Russia can find the now single mothers or former wives, and then, with their compassion and humanitarian efforts, create new homes, built not on the hunger for power of the greed that drives the current leadership, but the love and respect of the civilians, and the desire for a life without imposition, better homes."
