A good case for foam filled tires in critical spots.

Here's a few pics of a couple of tires that were still doing their job (albeit not for much longer) despite the abuse hurled at them.

Rear off my ST4B. This is what happens when guides come loose and turn sideways and the previous owner kept driving the machine

Yikes :4_11_9:

I've never seen tires that bad.

Well I did one time when my wife decided to drive a car that had a flat tire. She got a few miles from home :pat:

WOW! Well he sure was lucky to have foam filled tires. I swear by them! All of mine are foam filled. The bigger problem though was lack of vehicle inspection and most likely maintenance as well. Your tracks take the most abuse. You have to inspect them before, during and after each and every trip! Tires and wheels are next. Fluids and engine trans condition. its sad to see the damage that is caused by not paying attention and not doing proper inspections. These are not cars that when they break down we call mommy to come and pick us up! Your life and more importantly the life of the people with you depend on this snowcat operating properly! OK rant over. Also always always top off the fuel tank before you put the snowcat away for the night! Also remember if its really cold and you fill up but the next day will be warmer then dont cap off to the very top. When temps raise the gasoline will expand causing the fuel cap to leak. So fill it up but allow for expansion.
