A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Barn

This morning, one of the college girls that ride at our barn brought her dad by to see the place. As Mallory, her dad, Vicky and I are standing around chatting, we started talking about my tractors and equipment, etc. Typically, we are simplifying things as you frequently do when talking to people who are not familiar with farm equipment and activities. He then says that if I am ever looking for new equipment to let him know, and he might be able to get me a good deal.

My reply "Oh really? That would be cool, discounts are always nice." I was just about to ask him if he is involved in used equipment, or perhaps he knows a guy who knows a guy, etc.....

That's when he says "Yeah, I'm the CEO of Case IH."

Hopefully, I'll have the chance to take him up on his offer. :yum:

Well I think that RED IMPLEMENT on your green tractor would help a lot in finding your tractor the next time you leave it out in a snow storm. :4_11_9: :poke: :yum:
 
:pat: wish I coulda met him.... a few months ago when I had to buy a new tractor!! Make you sure you don't lose his card
