Couple of cigars I had in St Louis last week. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly which ones they were, but I liked them both.
A Fuentes Canones. This was a thick cigar, and maybe 7" long. Lasted 2 hours while in an outdoor blues club near the stadium. Not a heavy cigar, but nice. I'd like to buy more. Was having a few Amber Lights while listening to live music. Bought it a sports club downtown St Louis. You should have seen that place. Probably had to have a net worth of 5 mil to be a member. But they were nice enough to sell me a cigar!
Next night, an Oliva Series V, dark, and short torpedo style. This one was a bit fuller than the Fuentes, and again, I'd like to buy more. This was with Scotch, neat, as always. Only JW black; they did not have a good selection of Scotch there, but I wanted Scotch. Had that one at an outdoor Bocce bar on the Hill after having Veal Saltimbocca at Giovanni's. That short sucker lasted 1.5 hours! Bought it at that bar, which was right down the street from Giovanni's.
