I've recently learned that there used to be an fps cap for gaming that was used from 1999 up to 2010 in Unreal Engine 3 and ID Tech 3. Designers of the time decided that 91 fps was the best limit to set for games.
In fact, the setting was 90.900, at 11.0 ms, which rounded up to 91. Now, the games can be set to 91 exactly, at 10.9 ms with rivertuner. I find this confusing.
Which setting between these two is more efficient for the purpose of frame rendering?
