77’ Bombardier BOMBI - Oil & Filter change advice request…

Okay - checked oil before a cat run and was at top… 3 runs in MELLOW mode and check oil again as I noticed the cat heating up a bit … dip-stick wasn’t wet... dripping from the filter but WTF …can’t get in there to turn it any more… is only way to change oil and filter to remove the hoses on the radiator? The BOMBI is new to me and my first run with the thing… wondering what this is all about?!
 
Replace filter, poss that the old rubber filter gasket was stuck to block, I put valve in oil drain plug with hose on it , or cut access hole in belly pan , make a cover over hole if you go that route
