I have 3 of one and one of the other. I assume the solid ones are the OEM, but that begs, where did the other come from?

Looking for a spare.

they came with cast wheels then switched to steel. lug pattern changed and the number of small bolts on the boggies increased over the years.

The "Old", or earlier 5 lug wheel was a mixture of steel and aluminum. The center 'dish' was aluminum alloy with a steel rim riveted to it. snow would build up behind the wheel and eventually crack out the aluminum dish. Both the older 5 lug wheel, and the later 6 lug wheel suffered from Lug problems. It is very important to use the special washers that came with them. The older alloy wheel works fine as long as one keeps it free of Ice and properly torques the lugs. there is also an all steel 5 lug replacement. The Linde hubs are interchangeable, both fit the same spindle. I came across a NorthWest Tell machine that had a six lug on one side and a five lug on the other.

both of these are 6 lug welded steel. but one has segmented rims. the other 3 is solid. so, one way or the other someone had a source to a second market. looking for that source

they're both oem just different years I have a 5 lug with the vented insert now cracked around the lug holes.
