I was on a trip to the cabin the other day and felt somne nasty vibrations, got out to look and there is the rear foam filled tire( more like solid rubber filled) sticking out at an angle from the wheel. For a while I thought the tire had some how come off the wheel. After looking a little closer I noticed that the inner half of the wheel had broken off and was long gone. How the inner half of the wheel got off the axle I have no idea. Lucky it did not wind up in the sprocket. Since I do not have any axle clamps to keep the axle from dropping, it took an hour and lots of cussing to get the wheel and tire off the hub. That was after a 5 mile ski trip back to my rig and a trip to town to get a jack. I limped the cat 1 mile back to the cabin on three wheels.
Any of you 4t10 owners had a problem with wheels breaking? All of my trips have been easy rides on snow covered roads. Looking for a new wheel and foam filled tire now. Foam filled seems like a misnomer, looked like solid heavy rubber to me.
