we have a 03 and 07 br180 and are useing a 22x6x16 metal band press on forklift tire with custom made flat stock steel welded in center -- most machine shops can do this for you THEY WILL NEVER GO BAD !!!!!!

no thank you i was able to customize two from 21x5x16's metal band press on forklift tires , just had to mill and weld in centers 0-offset has worked out great for over 600 hours so far with NO wear . i expect many years of trouble free wear

I have a mk3 and. Use 4 snowplough tires at rear and convenient spares ahead. The 4 rear tires tighten the track so 6 ply. The rest 12 are convenient spares 4.5x 16. T35 or T45. I pick them up at wrecker for 20 bucks. I had 2 badly rusted so cut out the outer rim and welded on a tubeless rim of the same spares I’m running tubless tires on 2 modified rims. Seem to hold at 60 psi

The red rim is now tubless

It’s a 1945 ex Canadian military unit. My brother used it for fire fighting and guiding for afew years. The tracks were redone 18 yrs ago. Mostly parked the rest of its life. There was apparently 1500 made but most ended up in USA.

I just bought a bombardier Muskeg don’t know the year , but it has 28 in tracks and double sprockets and wheels. Trying to check fluids it has a Ford straight 6 in it behind the cab . I believe the drum brake on drive line simultaneous pulling of steering levers , it’s those cylinders that fluid go into what types do I use, is it hydraulic or brake ?

This is the Muskeg

The drum brake should be a mechanically operated parking brake. There should be a lever in the cab. Brake fluid typically goes in the steering brake systems.

Thanks I got plenty of dot 4 I will use that any ideas on where the data plates are on this rig and where to find manual on it thanks
