Hi! I have a 1987 Bombardier Muskeg, with hydraulic steering levers, steering is quite poor and needs improvement. Does anyone have a recipe on how to troubleshoot and adjust ? Pictures below :
Nice machine , off the top of my head hyd pressure should be at least 500 psi , you can install a gauge at the steering sticks. Personally before doing that ,I would pull the cover and have a look at the bands , judging by the amount of threads showing on the rht adjuster they might be getting worn/glazed . Lots of knowledge on Facebook , "Muskeg" and "Bombardier ,keeping them alive " , being two groups I like.
