1980 DMC 1450 - Leak behind sprocket

I have a leak behind the driver's side sprocket. I'm leaning on the knowledge of the more experienced catters than myself. I know I'll have remove the tracks to tackle this. How involved of a job is this? Is there anything specifically I should look out for or be aware with such a job? I do have track jacks and the manual for this machine. Thanks in advance for any advice.
