1976 Bombardier Bombi bad trany

Hello! 1st post great site been looking/reading for weeks. Picked up a new to me Bombi w/a drag. 1st gear was making grinding noise and popping out of gear. Now it will not even go into gear. Looking for help I live just north of Kingston Ontario. Looking for options rebuild or replace.:ermm:

pull trans out, pretty easy job, take it to transmission shop. most parts are 1970's ford pinto, they should be able to fix it no problem
 
10-4 boggie was a big help got it out this am, lots of tiny bits in the bottom. Found a trany shop here in K-town said that they would be able to fix it... we'll see in a week or so. Lucas at the shop indusrtial also found a complete rebuild for me if needed(no cheep though) keep you up to date hope to be groomin in a week or so. I will send a pick of the groomer/drag when I get it back togeter.

Took off clutch pressure plate and found clutch plate to been worn out getting replaced as well checked bearing in fly wheel looks and feels good fly wheel has little no no glazin/hot spots. Just waiting for a phone call to go get tranny and pay the bill!:ermm:
 
I got Trany and clutch back on friday but do to kids hockey could not get it in till today the wait has been killing me. Rebuilt trany resurfaced clutch/pressure plate $ 400 took for a test drive on what little snow we have what a blast!
