For Sale: 1963 Thiokol 4T4 Snowcat, Serial # 300. This is a 4-man cab that was sent to Thiokol in 1968 by the US Forest Service to be modified, extending the removeable cab to a 4T8 (8-man cab). The machine runs well and has been well maintained by the government. The track belts and tires are like new and are the optional 31 1/2' wide tracks. It is powered by the Ford 223 6 cyl., 3 sp., and as you can see from the photo's that it has the original Trackmaster decals (and other US Gov. signage), original paint, ax and shovel racks, engine crank and other spare parts. The original seats are also in good condition. Included are copies of the original sales brochure/purchase order, and a parts and sevice manual. Price: $12,000.00. For an additional cost of $2,500.00, a Thiokol trailer is available for purchase. This machine is a rare find and being in the very good condition will make a not only a good access vehicle but also could be a museum piece with a little TLC.
