1957 SNOW KITTEN

Can anybody tell me what the original engine was for a 1957 Snow Kitten? Are there still parts available for the kitten and who should I contact ?If anyone out there has one they use I would like to talk to them.

My 1959 Kitten has a Ford Anglia 100E engine and transmission. Parts for the engine and transmission are available from Small Ford Spares in the UK. Even with shipping and exchange rates they are cheaper than parts in the US. Their site has very good pictures and illustrations. You can buy anything you could need including complete engines and transmissions. The vast majority of the rest of the parts are common "industrial" or auto parts except for the track rollers. The tracks are narrower than the larger Tucker machines. The Kitten is not exceptionally fast but handles well in most snow conditions. Depending on the condition of the tracks, sprockets, and the runners on the pontoons, they can be very noisey. Tracks must be kept adjusted or they will jump on the drive sprocket causing wear on the sprocket teeth and tracks plus make the machine impossible to keep going straight - very important if trying to load/unload on a trailer. Also, the small track size and lite weight make it want to slide on steel decks and ramps.
Unfortunately I have not gotten much parts help from Tucker.
