That is unusual place. I know a lot of them had battery charger/ maintainers on both the cat and the haul truck, since it might be months between uses.
 
'Tucker speedos usually have sticker that reads "divide speed by 2.4" or something like that. my 1544 would read 20 mph but there was no way it ever got that fast
