1201C on Ebom....

How can this be a 1985 Thiokol when LMC owned the company? Must be a1975 {The ebay fountain of youth}

The thought occurred to me but not knowledgeable in that area enough to shoot my mouth off...

I saw this cat listed on a private site in Michigan. It was listed for $10,995 I believe. I got a giggle when I saw that price! There was a theory that one of the guys amongst us bought it...may be the case, not sure... but let's see.

It was offered to me at 9,000 and I turned it down. Before it went tot E-bay
by another company. they had it on consignment :thumb:

You guys are amazing the way you track the whereabouts of these machines. It's nice because if something is for sale you can actually find it here first, especially if you list your requirements. And what's better is that the history of the machine is likely known. . . and the problems are too!

and for the creme de la creme...the summary... originally for sale listed at $11K, then offered to the Boggie-man at $9K...and now for sale at Safety One for... a bargain basement $22K!

That's right folks... nip 'em and flip 'em!

...and someone will buy it! This kind of thing forces me to comment on the BDCC thread for the LMC1200. Look at this $22K thing vs. the Black Diamond LMC 1200... Obviously BDCC/Marc's cat (MToppers now), was orders of magnitude superior...for only a bit more...Marc... more advertising!!! Where is the BDCC website??? Everyone wants BDCC to be successful. How about starting with a nice 601 restore and do a full restoration history! :applause: :thumb: OK, fine, not one of Mainer's :4_11_9: (given you think I'm probably a pain in the a*s :moon: , but it's not intended to be anything other than helpful in a prodding sort of way:poke: ), but maybe someone else's...someone offer up a cat in need of restoration and willing to pay what is reasonable. Or anyone interested in parting with an older cat for Marc to buy and restore to get biggest $ return and then sell with the full history?

Target the BMW populous with leather seating, 5-point harnesses, burlwood, and mahogany...mixed with a nice Interlagos blue metallic BMW color scheme (compromising my originality needs of proper Air Force blue). :17875: We can put in a small humidor as well.

Good idea? Horrific idea? Anybody think I'm off my rocker? Hmmm... maybe I shouldn't ask that question. :shitHitFan: :toilet:

Hey Marc,
Now that you are done with one 89 1200 LMC, I have its mate another 89 sitting in the yard looking forlorn. My old LMC feels out of place, is pouting and wants to look as fine and fresh as the other one on the lower lot. The old LMC is in great mechanical shape but needs the bling, bling job done. No DVD player will be required but some other options can be discussed for this one. :yum: :yum:

Did you miss this one? Finally after 1500 miles it was parked in my parking slot near the highway and still shining brightly. I now have it off the trailer and parked at the lower lot awaiting some high altitude jets that got back ordered. It probably will not see a lot of action this year as I have my own special treatments to apply. For some reason Marc forgot the blue fog lights and my style of light bar taillights (2 red and 1 blue per side) and I can't leave home without them....:yum:
