I own one of these and also an NA powered Convertible. Haven't driven either for two years very much.

Covid and the economy made such fun and unaffordable luxury in money and time. Hopefully this next year I can drive the convertible. The wife's SRT is another matter. It may be for sale.

Both are exciting to drive and will be collectors' cars in the future. Built for Chrysler by Mercedes/Benz for sport, they are high quality vehicles, and somewhat rare. I do hope to enjoy them again.

NOTE: I am not posting it for sale just explaining my dilemma
 
It was the same here. Drove mine very little over the course of the last 3 years I we owned it. The last year full year we owned it was 2020, the year the DNC and CCP inflicted a genetically created virus on the world.

An opportunity arose to sell the car to a nice older couple from Searsport, Maine. They had been looking for a few years for the perfect one. Turns out they considered mine the perfect one.

Wonderful feeling seeing them drive away in it with the top down on a chilly April day, but they both had the permagrin on their faces with hats and scarfs and I had the Cashier's Check in my wallet.

It was a wonderful car needing only routine maintenance, tires and batteries over the course of the 11 years we owned it. An exceptionally well built and super dependable vehicle. German engineering at its finest, IMHO.

Now I drive a Ford Maverick FX/4 which oddly, is quicker 0-60 than the Crossfire. I had the N/A version as you may recall.
 
I had the SRT at 200 MPH.

Steady as a rock...;
Scary as hell.

At that speed, just letting off on the throttle too fast will get you killed.

I'll never do it again. But, it was a hoot when I did it.

That was back in my foolish youth, 2010 when I rented the Gateway speedway for the Chrysler Crossfires Across America event.

Only I did it on US 36 in northern MO. on the track, I believe my son got it up to 180MPH

the Autobahn thing is of legend.

the Autobahn experience - ah, , , today not so much.
years back one could jump on unlimited speed sections and fly.
well, real fast between jam-ups . . .
post Wall-fall driving really fast got really really dicey - too many Trabants tooling along wide open at 65 mph....

night time was best for fast driving. Germans just seem to stay home after the sun sets . . .
which, sigh, has/had its own perils. German headlights are seriously different that USA specs. at 50-60 mph you are over driving your headlight vision distances. we took a (like dang just bought it...) US version Volkswagen to Germany. to get reasonable insurance, had to have German plates. (among other changes....) different headlights - wow what an amazing down grade in night driving . . .

there are currently a limited number of unrestricted speed zones available - traffic has built up to the point speed limits had to be imposed.

but regardless, I have driven @200-300 kph (125-187 mph) and not in a controlled track environment - it can be absolutely terrifying.
a half-second reaction time at 300 kph . . . very long skid marks . . .
