I had this car up here last month, I had issues with my e-mail and didnt get back to some of you as I should have. I'm sorry about that. My cell # is below.
1950 Lincoln Cosmopolitan, 4dr, suicide doors, flathead V-8, automatic transmission, power windows. Looks like a Mercury with extra chrome.
$5000 cash firm, delivery may be possible.
This car was parked in a dry barn in Sonoma County around 1964, and never moved until lately. there is no rust that I can find, all the trim is there except the radio antenna, and one mirror head is unattached. the car was repainted in the 60's with a color that seems close to original, but the prep job was less than perfect, so you can see some sanding marks under the paint.
The interior is intact and looks pretty good, but its old, and may not last if used as is. all glass is intact, but some side glass has a few bubbles in the laminate.
I have not tried to make it run, its gonna need some attention first to avoid potential damage from being stored for so long.
would make a cool lowrider or rat rod project without having to track down so many little parts, this car is extremely complete and original.
The photos are exactly as I got it, it was not even washed or cleaned before I took the pics.
The car is Located in Pollock Pines, about 1 hour East of Sacramento, PHONE NUMBER REMOVED.
