I built this and never needed it. I have 4" I beams and heavy 2" square tube.Almost all alumimun .It will break down in 3 parts and can be loaded by one person in a pickup with little trouble.
Back trailer part can be adjusted for long load but needs to be connected for towing support. Trailer part can be towed alone.
I noticed when I tested it that holes need to be drilled for tie downs.
I need to be in Whithorse in september so I may be able to deliver in that area.I am located near seattle wa.
It has used plastic skis with worn skegs that I put on.
