snowtrac from belgium

dirk

New member
i bought this snow trac in belgium.
it is been here at forumsforums before.
it is in good shape and all original.
it has diskbrakes and everything is made a bit stronger than my older swedish snow trac.
for example, the jibs are from thicker material, the variator is made stronger with extra iron parts.
only the tank is full of rust, so i have to change it, and the variator disks are rusted.
i took the trac to finland, we had to drive 3700 km and cross 5 countries, and we have been stopt only once by the police !
now i painting the snow trac, and fix the lights.
also i took the rust away from the variator disks and changed the variator belt.
when all is ok i go to get the finnish papers in order.
my plan is to drive sightseeing trips here, so i have to build a warm sleigh.
here are some pics from the trip when we got the snow trac, how it looked then en now.
greetings dirk

Dirk, very interesting engine compartment on that one. What are those bits and pieces in front of the engine's curved heat shield?

those are the discbrakes and in the middle the brake booster.
normally you can not see them, there is a cover from curved shield to the front.
