I was able to aquire, from a private collection, a series of photographs of a NATO military Snow Trac used by the British Commando forces during the cold war era.
My reasons for posting all of these is so anyone who wants to restore their Snow Trac can look at some of the details in these photos to see how things should be done correctly.
There are minor differences between the civilian and military versions. The civilian doesn't have a front hitch plate, nor does it have plywood rear half doors or an outboard mounted fuel tank. But the basic versions are identical in other ways so this is a very good photographic reference set. And I should note that a civilian version of this unit was available with a canvas top. It different only in the front hitch and the fuel tank position (at least that is what I've been able to figure out)
